This manual and the functions it describes are new for this release of SNAplus2.
APPC Application Suite provides SNA equivalents of common TCP/IP applications such as
ftp
and ping, which use
independent LU 6.2 protocols to communicate with similar applications running on other nodes in the SNA network.
APPC Application Suite can be used to provide support for operations, such as file transfer, that are frequently
performed across a network.
