Step 4. When you are finished adding parameters and values to the command,
press Enter.
Tracing is now enabled and will be written to the following text files:
• /var/opt/sna/snatnsv1.trc
• /var/opt/sna/snatnsv2.trc
You can also use the snapadmin query_tn_server_trace command to
get information about the current tracing options for the SNAplus2 TN
server feature. For more information about this command and the
snapadmin set_tn_server_trace command, refer to the HP-UX
SNAplus2 Administration Command Reference.
TN Server Trace File Contents
TN server trace data is written to /var/opt/sna/snatnsv1.trc and
/var/opt/sna/snatnsv2.trc. You can view them using a standard
ASCII text editor:
Message data is shown in three columns: hexadecimal, interpreted as
EBCDIC, and interpreted as ASCII. Therefore, a text string in the
message data appears as readable characters either in the EBCDIC or in
the ASCII column according to its character set.
