NAME
named-checkconf - named configuration file syntax checking tool
SYNOPSIS
/usr/sbin/named-checkconf
[-t directory][-v][filename]
DESCRIPTION
named-checkconf
is a tool to check the syntax, but not semantics, of the configuration file for
named.
Options
-t directory chroot to directory so that include
directives in the configuration file are pro-
cessed as if run by a similarly chrooted
named.
-v Print the version of the
named-checkconf
program and exit.
Operand
filename The configuration file to be checked. The default is
/etc/named.conf
.
RETURN VALUE
named-checkconf returns:
0 Success.
1 Errors are detected.
