NAME

getaudproc - get the audit process ﬂag for the calling process

SYNOPSIS

int getaudproc(void);

DESCRIPTION

getaudproc() returns the audit process ﬂag for the calling process. The audit process ﬂag

(u_audproc ) determines whether the process run by a given user should be audited. The process is

audited if the returned ﬂag is 1. If the returned ﬂag is 0, the process is not audited. This call is res-

tricted to the super-user.

RETURN VALUE

Upon successful completion, the audit process ﬂag is returned; otherwise, a

-1 is returned and errno

is set to indicate the error.

ERRORS

getaudproc() fails if the following is true:

[EPERM] The caller is not the super-user.
