device_number is 0 indexed and is assigned in the order in which the devices appear in ioscan (1M)
output.
If the console device is a graphics device, the files
crt and ocrt are created as the console device.
If the console is not a graphics device, crt and ocrt are identical to crt0 and ocrt0.

special file name.
