islessequal(3M) islessequal(3M)
NAME
islessequal() - floating-point comparison macro (<=)
SYNOPSIS
#include <math.h>
int islessequal(
floating-expr x, floating-expr
y);
DESCRIPTION
The islessequal()
macro determines whether its first argument is less than or equal to its second
argument. The value of
islessequal( x,y
) is always equal to (x)<=(y); however, unlike (
x)<=
(
y), islessequal( x,y
) does not raise the invalid exception when x and y are unordered.
The macro can be used with either
double
or float arguments.
The ISO/ANSI C committee has approved the
islessequal()
macro for inclusion in the C9X draft
standard.
To use the
islessequal()
macro, compile either with the default -Ae
option or with the -Aa and
-D_HPUX_SOURCE options. Make sure your program includes <
math.h>. Link in the math library by
specifying
-lm on the compiler or linker command line.
RETURN VALUE
The islessequal() macro returns the value of
(x)<=(y).
ERRORS
No errors are defined.
