config(1M) config(1M)
The above mentioned keywords e.g. $VERSION,
$CONFIGURE must start at the beginning of the line
without white space or tabs. Field separators can be single white spaces, tabs, or a combination of both.
Lines starting with an asterisk (
*) are comment lines
RETURN VALUE
config returns 0 upon successful completion. If an error occurs, a non-zero value is returned.
DIAGNOSTICS
All error messages and warning messages of config
are sent to stderr. Status report messages are sent
to stdout. These messages are self explanatory. Some messages are generated by
make or commands
called from the makefiles.
