Requirements for HP-MPI V1.1 for

Windows

HP-MPI for V1.1 for Windows is supported on servers and

workstations running Windows Compute Cluster Pack (CCP),

Windows Server 2003, or Windows XP Professional. An active

directory domain is required to run HP-MPI.

HP-MPI V1.1 for Windows is supported on the following

hardware running Microsoft Windows Compute Cluster Pack,

Windows Server 2003, or Windows XP Professional.

• HP Cluster Platform 3000, and 4000

• HP ProLiant BL20p, BL25p, BL30p, BL35p, DL140, DL145,

DL360, DL380, DL385, DL460C, DL480C, and DL585

On Windows 2003 and XP Professional, all systems which will be

used to run or submit HP-MPI jobs must be members of the same

active directory domain. You must install and start the HP-MPI

Remote Launch service to run on Windows 2003 and XP

Professional. The service is not required to run in SMP (single

system) mode.
