2 Updating support tools (releases and patches)
This document is used for the verification of different releases, their versions and information given
in the support tools.
Tables of versions (ToV)
Tables of versions (ToV) are useful in analyzing, referring and determining the features which have
been included in your version of STM and EMS hardware monitors, using the following tables.
Each version includes all the changes and enhancements made in all the previous versions and
STM patches.
TIP: The only exception may occur, if a patch is released after the release of the diagnostics and
the version of STM on that release may not include the changes made in that patch.
NOTE: Following are the important reference notes for OnlineDiag tables of versions (ToV).
• The values denoted by xx in the tables throughout this document are for internal use only.
These digits are used internally by the lab to track minor differences in versions. Users can
ignore these digits.
• For a list of the required patches, see DIAGNOSTIC.readme file for the release.
• To refer and validate the features included in your version of SysFaultMgmt (System Fault
Management) (SFM), see the latest version of HP-UX SysFaultMgmt (System Fault Management)

Supported versions of STM and EMS hardware monitors
The following sections list all the versions of STM and hardware monitors of EMS, which are
supported.
For HP-UX 11i v3
The following Table 1 (page 6) lists all those HP-UX 11i v3 versions for STM and hardware
monitors of EMS, which are currently supported.
