Overview
The Offline Diagnostics Environment (ODE) is a platform that enables you to troubleshoot a system that is not booted
to the operating system. You can use ODE to troubleshoot a system on which you cannot use the Online Diagnostics
Tools. ODE is also useful for some types of testing in which it is not desirable to have to boot to the operating system
first, as is often the case in manufacturing environment.
The IPF Offline Diagnostics and Utilities CD is a comprehensive offline diagnostic solution. The CD includes a suite
of diagnostic tools belonging to the Offline Diagnostics Environment (ODE) plus a collection of other useful
diagnostic utilities.
