7. To modify information in the Presented to Initiators table:
a. Highlight an initiator in the table to select it.
b. To change the port type, select the correct value from the list in the Port Type field.
Although the software allows you to change the port type, it is unlikely to be required.
c. To change the port ID, enter the correct value into the Port ID field.
d. To change the Network/SAN Connectivity, select the correct value from the list in the
Network/SAN Connectivity field.
e. To remove an initiator, click Remove.
8. To modify information in the Presented by Targets table:
a. Highlight a target in the table to select it.
b. Select or clear the box, as needed, to enable or disable the connection through the specified
port.
9. Click OK to save the modifications and exit the window.
Modifying tags on the volume service
To modify tags on the volume service:
1. From the Navigation tree, click on Volume Services, then click on the desired volume service in
the List View.
2. Click the Actions Properties button at the bottom of the screen.
The Volume Properties dialog box displays.
3. Select the Tags tab.
4. Select and clear the boxes to indicate the tags to apply to the volume service.
5. Click the OK button or select another tab to continue.
Modifying security on a volume service
1. From the Navigation tree, click on Volume Services, then click on the desired volume service in
the List View.
2. Click the Actions Properties button at the bottom of the screen.
The Volume Properties dialog box displays.
3. Select the Security tab.
4. Follow the same instructions used to configure security at the catalog level. See
“Configuring catalog security” on page 20.
NOTE:
Although the security tabs look the same for volume service security and catalog security, the settings
applied to the volume following this procedure are applied to the selected volume only.
