Adding and applying licenses to managed systems
After the Insight software installation process, you will use either the HP Insight managed system setup wizard
or the Systems Insight Manager license manager to add and apply the license keys to your managed systems.
NOTE: You cannot use the HP Insight managed system setup wizard to license Insight Control server
deployment software. You must use the HP Systems Insight Manager license manager feature.

Obtaining a trial license
The Trial button on the http://www.hp.com/go/tryinsightsoftware website provides a link for you to
register and download trial evaluation software of every Insight Software product you want to try.
When you register for the trial evaluation, you receive a trial license key that enables you to test and evaluate
the software for a 60 day time period on a limited number of managed systems.
When the evaluation period expires, you must purchase additional licenses from HP if you want to continue
using the software.
You are ready to begin
As soon as you have in your possession the Insight software distribution media and have redeemed your
license keys, use the Insight software installation documentation to begin installing or upgrading Insight
software.
