NAME

srp_ps - Reports process status for a container in the HP-UX Containers environment

SYNOPSIS

srp_ps [container_name][ps_arguments]

DESCRIPTION

When the container_name option is speciﬁed, srp_ps prints process status for the speciﬁed container.

When the container_name option is not speciﬁed, srp_ps prints status for the current container. When

executed from the global view, srp_ps prints status for all processes not executing within a container.

When the container_name option is not speciﬁed, and the compartments(5) feature is disabled on the sys-

tem, srp_ps prints status for all processes on the system.

OPTIONS

container_name

Name of the container to report on.

ps_arguments

Any ps (1) arguments can be used.

RETURN VALUE

srp_ps returns the following values:

0 Successful completion.

>0 An error occurred.

EXAMPLES

Report status for processes not running in a container from the global view:

#srp_ps

Report status for processes in the container myCont with ps -ef option from the global view:

# srp_ps myCont -ef

Report status for processes in the current container:

#srp_ps
