DESCRIPTION
Manages the allowed product list. The srp_allowed_product command adds and removes products to
the allowed product list. The srp_allowed_product command also lists the entries in the allowed pro-
duct list.
The -add option will add an entry to the allowed product list after verifying that the entry does not
already exist, and it can be added to the allowed product list.
The -delete option will delete an existing entry in the allowed_product_list if it was an entry that was
entered by the user.
The -list option will either display all the allowed product list, or search the current allowed product list
for the specified product, and return whether the product is found in the allowed product list.
The srp_allowed_product contains the options -add_depot and -list_depot which allow the user to list
the products in the specified depot, or add the individual products found in the specified depot into the
allowed product list.
To ensure that the allowed product list is properly updated, a -check option has been provided to find
and try to synchronize any problems the command may encounter.
Options
-a, -add product_name
Attempt to add a product to the allowed product list. The srp_allowed_product will perform the
following checks before adding the product in the allowed product list.
- Product does not already exist in the allowed product list.
- Product cannot be added to the allowed product list because it may lead to incorrect/inconsistent
behavior in the system container.
-d, -delete product_name
Attempt to remove a product from the allowed product list. The product can only be removed if the
user has added the product to the allowed product list.
-l, -list [product_name]
If a product is specified, search for the product in the allowed product list. If no product is specified,
list all the products found in the allowed product list.
-h, -help, -?
Print the help text to help the user know what options to use in the command line.
-list_depot depot_path
Attempt to list the products found at the depot path. If no products are found at the depot path, then
return an error.
-add_depot depot_path
Find all the products found at the depot path and then for each product found in the depot, prompt
whether to add the product to the allowed product list. It will do the same checks that are performed
in -add.
-c, -check
Attempt to find and fix any changes between the allowed product list and any products added by the
user.
