NAME
resls - lists configured resources
SYNOPSIS
resls [-q][-h hostname ][
-s] resource
DESCRIPTION
resls is used to view resources that are configured on hostname according to the Registrar on that sys-
tem.
Options
resls recognizes the following command-line options:
-q Quiet mode. The names of the subclasses of resource are displayed, and the program
stops.
-h The Registrar on the system called hostname is contacted to obtain the information.
If this option is not specified,
resls contacts the Registrar on the local system.
-s Current value of the resource instance is displayed.
NOTE
The resls command starts the corresponding resource monitor if it is not running. However, it does not
stop the monitor on completion of command execution.
RETURN VALUES
resls exits with one of the following values:
0 Resources were listed successfully.
1 resls aborted because errors occurred. The following conditions cause an error:
• Could not connect to Registrar.
• Invalid option specified.
EXAMPLES
1. Show the resources configured under the root of the Resource Dictionary on the local system:
