NAME
resdata - show Event Monitor Service resource information
SYNOPSIS
resdata -r resource -R request_id [-n notify_id ][
-h hostname ] -m|-u|-a
resdata -M monitor_key [-h hostname ]
DESCRIPTION
resdata is used to view information about active monitor requests corresponding to a resource or to
view the restarted resource list.
To retrieve monitor data or user data, the user should specify the resource , request_id and optionally the
notify_id and one of the following:
-m
to indicate monitor data, -u to indicate user data, or -a to indi-
cate both monitor and user data. The request_id corresponds to the monitor request to retrieve informa-
tion from. The command resls (1) can be used to retrieve the request id. The resource is the fully
qualified name of the resource corresponding to the desired monitor request. The notify_id corresponds
to specific monitor data associated with a particular notification event.
To retrieve the restarted resource list, specify the
-M option and indicate the monitor key corresponding
to the resource. This monitor key is retrieved from the ITO (IT Operations) application.
Options
resdata recognizes the following command-line options:
-M Returns the restarted resource list.
-R Specifies the request id corresponding to the active monitor request.
-a Requests resdata to retrieve both the monitor and user data.
-h The Registrar on the system called hostname is contacted to obtain the information. If this
option is not specified, resdata contacts the Registrar on the local system.
-m Requests resdata to retrieve the monitor data.
-n Specifies the notification id uniquely associated with monitor data for a specific notification
event. If specified, then monitor data associated with the specific notification event for the
active monitor request identified by request id will be displayed. If this option is not
specified, then the current monitor data, if any, for the active monitor request identified by
request id will be displayed.
-r Specifies the resource name used to retrieve the user or monitor data.
-u Requests resdata to retrieve the user data.
