Display List of Spigots Reachable from the Interface Adapter(s)
nwmgr -S rdma [--class_instance
interface ...] -q topo
Displays the list of spigots reachable from the interface adapter(s). The list is displayed for each
local spigot. The list contains the network address and the node description as advertised in the
fabric for that spigot.
View Interface Statistics
nwmgr [-g] -S rdma [
-c interface ...] --st
Reset Interface Statistics
nwmgr [--get] --reset -S rdma
[-c interface ...] --stats
Reset the Adapter
nwmgr -r -S rdma -c interface [-f
]
While the reset is in progress, the data traffic through the interface is interrupted. The command
automatically performs a Critical Resource Analysis to see if the interface is data-critical, i.e., any
other resource depends for its functionality on the availability of the interface. If so, the reset is not
performed. The reset can be forced, if the adapter is data-critical, by using the
--force option. It
is possible for an adapter to be system-critical, i.e., the health of the system depends on the availa-
bility of the adapter. In that case, the reset will not be performed even if the
--force
option is
specified.
Download trace or notrace version of Firmware onto Adapter
nwmgr --do -S rdma -c interface -A fw_type={trace|no_trace}
This command downloads the trace or notrace (performance) version of the firmware onto the
adapter. You must reset (with -r) the adapter for the version of the firmware to be activated.
Select the firmware type notrace (performance) unless directed by HP support.
Diagnose Link Connectivity
nwmgr --diag linkloop -S rdma -c interface -q dgid= destination_GID
, spigot=spigot_ID
[
--it number_of_packets]
This command performs a linkloop-like packet send to check connectivity to an adapter. The
--it
option specifies how many test frames to send; the default is 3.
Perform Critical Resource Analysis on the Adapter
nwmgr --cra -S rdma -c interface
RETURN VALUES
0 The command returns 0 on success.

hpux.network.config authorization, which is required for this
operation.
[EACCES] Attempt to set a read-only attribute.
[ENXIO] The target interface could not be accessed.
[ENOMEM] Memory allocation failed. This could be a transient condition.
[EBUSY] The interface is presently inaccessible.
