Attributes that can be used for RDMA subsystem are described in the
Attributes section below.
-c | --class_instance
Specifies the target interface on which the operation is to be performed.
-it | --iteration Specifies how many test frames to send during a
diagnose operation.
The default is 3.
-S | --subsystem Specifies the target subsystem for the operation. For the RDMA subsys-
tem, the option argument is always
rdma
.
-q | --subsystem_qualifier
Specifies an RDMA specific target qualifier.
The arguments supported for
RDMA subsystem are rc_info
, topo,
dgid, and spigot.
rc_info Displays Reliable Connection details for the interface
adapter(s).
topo Displays the list of spigots reachable from the interface
adapter(s).
dgid Specifies the destination GID, in the
diagnose operation.
spigot Specifies spigot ID, in the diagnose operation.
--st | --stats Specifies that the operation applies to the statistics of the target.
-v | --verbose Option to display more details in the output.
-f | --force Option to force the reset of the adapter, during the --cra operation, if
the adapter is data-critical.
-C Option to specify the target class for the operation. For the RDMA sub-
system, the option argument supported today is ib.
Attributes
The valid attributes for
RDMA subsystem are:
fw_type={trace|no_trace}
Specifies the version of the firmware to download onto the adapter, in the diagnose operation. The
possible values are: trace and notrace (performance).
USAGE
The common usage of
nwmgr for RDMA subsystem is explained in greater detail below.
Display Network Interfaces
nwmgr
The command without any arguments displays all the network interfaces in the system, including
physical LAN interfaces (NICs), virtual LAN interfaces (VLANs and APA aggregates), and RDMA-
based interfaces.
View Basic Properties of One or More Interfaces
nwmgr [-g] -S rdma -C ib [-v]
nwmgr [--get] --subsystem rdma [--class_instance interface ...] [--verbose]
The form without the verbose option displays a table, with one row for each interface that gets
listed. If an interface is specified as a target with the
-c option, only that interface gets displayed.
The properties displayed for each interface are explained in nwmgr(1M). Note that the get opera-
tion is the default, so the -g option need not be specified explicitly.
The verbose option changes the output to include more details about each interface that is
displayed, and also changes the format to be line-oriented, with each line describing one property.
Display Reliable Connection Details for the Interface Adapter(s)
nwmgr [-g] -S rdma -q rc_info -c interface
