DESCRIPTION
The
nwmgr program is the unified command to administer all LAN and RDMA-based interfaces of HP-
UX. General information about the command as a whole can be found in the manual page nwmgr(1M).
This manual page describes
nwmgr as applied to the RDMA subsystem.
The
nwmgr RDMA subsystem allows you to:
• Display information about the RDMA adapters on the system.
• Display Reliable Connection information.
• Display InfiniBand fabric topology information.
• Display and reset interface statistics.
• Reset the interface adapter.
• Download trace or performance firmware.
• Perform a linkloop-like packet send to check connectivity to an adapter.
• Perform Critical Resource Analysis on an adapter.
Operations other than
get and linkloop require hpux.network.config
authorization. For more
information about authorizations and Role-based Access Control, see rbac(5).
Operations
The
nwmgr command provides the following operations for the RDMA subsystem.
--cra Operation to perform Critical Resource Analysis on the interface.
--diag | --diagnose Operation to diagnose/test link connectivity.
-g | --get Operation to get/display interface settings.
-h | --help Operation to display help information.
-r | --reset Operation to reset interface or statistics.
--do | --download Operation to download the trace or notrace (performance) version of
the firmware onto the adapter.
Options
Beside operations, the following options are valid for the RDMA subsystem:
-A | --attribute Assigns attributes for an operation. For RDMA, this option can be used
with the diagnose operation.
