gss_import_sec_context( ) - transfer a security context to another process on a single machine

DESCRIPTION

The gss_import_sec_context( )

routine lets a process to import a security context established by

another process. A given interprocess token may be imported only once.

Input Parameters

interprocess_token Speciﬁes the token to be transferred to target process.

Output Parameters

context_handle Speciﬁes the context handle of newly reactivated context.

minor_status Returns a status code from the security mechanism.

STATUS CODES

The following status codes can be returned:

GSS_S_COMPLETE The routine was completed successfully.

GSS_S_NO_CONTEXT

The supplied context handle did not refer to a valid context.

GSS_S_DEFECTIVE_TOKEN

The token was invalid.

GSS_S_UNAVAILABLE

The operation is not supported.

GSS_S_UNAUTHORIZED

Local policy prevents the import of this context by the current process.
