getresuid, getresgid - get real, effective and saved user or group IDs

int getresuid (uid_t *ruid, uid_t *euid, uid_t *suid);

int getresgid (gid_t *rgid, gid_t *egid, gid_t *sgid);

DESCRIPTION

getresuid and getresgid return the real, effective, and saved user or group ID’s of the current pro-

cess.

RETURN VALUE

On error, the return is -1, and

errno

is set appropriately. On success the return is 0.

[EFAULT] One of the arguments speciﬁed an address outside the calling programs address space.
