NAME
evweb logviewer - lists logs, and displays the details of a log.

DESCRIPTION
evweb low level log viewer provides an interface to view the low level logs. One or more low level records
are related to high level WBEM Indication. An EMS event contains low level log details, however, such
detail is not provided as a part of the high level WBEM indication. By means of the low level log viewer,
user can view the low level log details. Each log Entry is uniquely identified by a Log ID and Log Index.
The options
-E, and -L
are mutually exclusive. These options can be used with other switches such as
-a, -c, -e
, -h, -i, -j, -n, -o, -r
, -s, -t, -x, and -y.
Options
The
evweb logviewer command supports the following options:
-a age_number[:]{mm|dd|yy}
Specifies the age of a log. The age consists of a number and the unit of age separated by a colon (
:).
Space can also be used to separate number and unit, but in this case the entire string (number and
unit) must be enclosed within double quotes (
""). The -a switch is mutually exclusive with the
-t
switch. The -a switch is not applicable to the -E option. The possible values for unit are:
mm months
dd days
yy years
The default unit is
dd. The following lists examples for using the -a option:

-a 1:mm
• -a 1:yy
The following three commands have the same meaning:
•
-a 10:dd
• -a 10
• -a "10 dd"
-c count of logs
Used to specify the number of logs to be displayed. This switch is applicable only to the
-L option.
-e Specifies whether the output of the -L option must include the low level details of a log along with
the summary information. You can use this switch only with the -L option. The following are
examples of the -e option:

evweb logviewer -L -e
• evweb logviewer -L -i 1234 -e
-E Displays the details of a log identified by a log id. You can use the following switches with the -E
option:
•
-h
• -i [Log_id]
• -n [Log_index]
• -r
The following are examples of the -E option:
•
evweb logviewer -E -i 21 -n 2
• evweb logviewer -E -i 21
• evweb logviewer -E -h
-i Log Id
Specifes the Log Id of the log.
-j Log Type
Specifies the Log Type of the log.
