Displays errors generated by the Event Manager (EVM). Specify eventname as the
search parameter.

Displays forward progress errors.
nettl [[subsysid][,eventid ]]
Displays errors generated by the Common Network Tracing and Logging (NetTL) sys-
tems. subsysid is the subsystem ID of a specific subsystem. eventid is the event ID of a a
single event. Both of the subsystem ID and the event ID are integers. If you specify both
subsystem ID and event ID, the search results would match both the search parameters
others Displays errors that do not belong to any specific category.
snmp [[trapid][,enterpriseid ]]
Displays Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) errors.
trapid is a specific trap ID and enterpriseid is an enterprise ID. Both of the trap ID and
the enterprise ID are strings. If you specify both trapid and enterpriseID , the search
results that would match both of those search parameters.
wbem [[providername][,eventid ]]
Displays errors generated by Web-Based Event Management (WBEM) providers. provi-
dername is a specific WBEM provider. eventid is a single event. eventid is an integer. If
both WBEM provider ID and event ID are specified, the search results would match both
the search parameters.

-h Displays help information for the emtui command. This option displays the syntax for the emtui
command. If you invoke the emtui command without any options, the -h is the default option.
-k item
Displays possible values of item supported by CER. The item parameter can be one of the following:
category Displays valid category names.
error Displays valid error type names
severity Displays valid severity level names
-l sevop sevval
Enables a severity operator (sevop ) and a severity level (sevval ) for an error. The following lists the
various severity operators:
lt less than the specified severity level
le less than or equal to the specified severity level
eq equal to the specified severity level
ge greater than or equal to the specified severity level
gt greater than the specified severity level
The following lists the various severity levels of errors in the descending order of severity:
fatal/nonrecoverable
Indicates an irreparable error condition.
critical Indicates that immediate action is needed or else an imminent suspension of
operation or critical resources will occur.
