cuptime(1) cuptime(1)
NAME
cuptime - Reports uptime(1) information for multiple systems. cuptime is part of the Distributed Systems
Administration Utilities (DSAU).
SYNOPSIS
Path: /opt/dsau/bin/cuptime
cuptime
DESCRIPTION
cuptime displays uptime(1) information for a set of systems. It is a wrapper around the
cexec(1)
command, which executes a command across multiple systems.
For each system,
cuptime displays the following:
• How long the system has been up
• Service load average
• Number of users logged in
For a Serviceguard cluster,
cuptime works cluster-wide by default, reporting
uptime(1) results from
each cluster member. When not in a Serviceguard cluster, defaults to issuing commands on the local
host. For distributed systems, specify the target systems using the same hostlist options as
cexec(1).
LIMITATIONS
For limitations, see the
cexec(1) manpage.
EXAMPLES
When you run
cuptime on a Serviceguard cluster node, it shows the output for all nodes on that cluster.
For example,
#cuptime
node1: 12:16pm up 10 days, 1:46, 0 users, load average: 0.06, 0.02, 0.01
node2: 12:16pm up 10 days, 1:46, 1 user, load average: 0.87, 0.76, 0.70
node4: 12:16pm up 10 days, 1:33, 10 users, load average: 0.14, 0.07, 0.0
node3: 12:16pm up 10 days, 1:45, 1 user, load average: 0.69, 0.60, 0.6
