cotd( ), cotdf( ), cotdl( ), cotdw( ), cotdq( ) - cotangent functions of an argument specified in degrees
SYNOPSIS

float cotdf(float x);
long double cotdl(long double x);
extended cotdw(extended x);
quad cotdq(quad x);
DESCRIPTION
These functions are available only for Integrity servers.
cotd() returns the cotangent of x (x specified in degrees).
cotdf() is a float version of cotd()
; it takes a float argument and returns a float result.
cotdl() is a long double version of cotd()
; it takes a long double argument and returns a
long double result.
cotdw() is an extended version of cotd(); it takes an extended argument and returns an
extended result.
cotdq() is equivalent to cotdl() on HP-UX systems.
USAGE
To use these functions compile either with the default
-Ae option or with the
-Aa and
-D_HPUX_SOURCE options.
To use
cotdw() or cotdq(), compile also with the -fpwidetypes option.
To use any of these functions, make sure your program includes
<math.h>, and link in the math library
by specifying -lm on the compiler or linker command line.
RETURN VALUE
cotd(±0) returns ±INFINITY.
If x is ±INFINITY,
cotd() returns NaN and raises the invalid exception.
If x is NaN,
cotd() returns NaN.
ERRORS
No errors are defined.
