2.5 Problems that have been fixed
2.5.1 Problems fixed in the B.05.01 release
• Defect number QXCR1001067793
The autosetup program does not allow the user to configure an HP-UX Directory Server on
a local host if, when querying the DNS server of the DNS domain for any registered directory
servers, DNS returns a host name. This program has been fixed to allow the user to specify
localhost with the -h option to bypass the DNS query.
• Defect number QXCR1001060652
The 64-bit sshd crashed with SIGBUS signal 10.
• Defect number QXCR1001068579
The autosetup program failed to modify the PAM configuration file (pam.conf) to enable
HP-UX to migrate from an HP–UX Directory Server client to a Windows ADS client.
• Defect number QXCR1001067849
No options were available with autosetup to set the profile name. For Windows ADS, no
option was available for setting the users account container. The –N (profile name) and –U
(users container) options have been added for those purposes.
• Defect number QXCR1001047967
After changes to the LDAP-UX configuration profile are made and the profile is downloaded
to an LDIF file on the client, LDAP-UX might stop functioning. Attempts to use the pwget
command to display users in the passwd database might produce no results. ldapcfinfo
might report the following error:
# ldapcfinfo -t passwd
ERROR: CFI_SEARCH_BASE_NOT_EXIST:
LDAP Error 32: Configured LDAP-UX search base does not exist.
• Defect number QXCR1001060821
When you use setup with the -l option to set up a local-only profile, the setup program
fails while attempting to copy an updated version of the client startup file
ldapux_client.conf from the following location:
/opt/ldapux/newconfig/etc/opt/ldapux/ldapux_client.conf.
• Defect number QXCR1001068861
When initiated with the -l option, setup does not create a configuration profile properly.
The setup program does not generate the default base DN as expected. When setup
prompts for the default base DN, it does not display the default, as shown in the following
example:
