LDAP-UX Integration B.04.20 Release Notes (June 2009)

NOTE: See the following notes:
• Patch number suffix with * above are dependencies to the patches that immediately precedes
them in the table.
• If you store POSIX information of passwd and group in ADS multiple domains, PHSS_36286
is required. If you only use a single domain, PHSS_36286 is optional.
• If you wish to use SASL/GSSAPI proxy authentication, you must first install patches
PHSS_29487 and PHSS_36286 and then install the latest version of the KRB5CLIENT
product available at software.hp.com.
AutoFS With LDAP Support on HP-UX 11i v1
If you want to use AutoFS/automount support with LDAP on HP-UX 11i v1, you must obtain
and install Enhanced AutoFS version B.11.11.0509.1.
The Enhanced AutoFS product can be downloaded from Software Depot and is registered as the
"ENHAUTO" product. It can be downloaded from: http://www.hp.com/go/softwaredepot
NOTE: If AutoFS support with LDAP is not required in your environment, installation of
Enhanced AutoFS B.11.11.0509 is not required.
AutoFS with LDAP Support on HP-UX 11i v2
In order to support automount feature in LDAP on HP-UX 11i v2, you must install the patch
shown in Table 1-2:

NOTE: If AutoFS support with LDAP is not required in your environment, installation of
PHNE_33100 is not required.
You can use the following command to check to see if these patches are installed:
swlist -l product | grep <either the patch number or description text>
HP-UX Enhanced Publickey LDAP Software on HP-UX 11i v1 or v2
ONC with publickey LDAP support is available through the HP-UX Enhnaced Publickey-LDAP
Software Pack (SPK) web release. To enable the publickey LDAP support, you must install the
Enhanced Publickey-LDAP software bundle listed on table 1-3 and LDAP-UX Client Services
B.04.00 or later. On HP-UX 11i v3, the software bundle is not required.
