Additional disk space of 1 KB per user is required to store the initial TGT
in credential cache files.
The size of each cache file grows in proportion with additional service
tickets. You must have enough space in the /tmp directory to accommodate
the credential cache files.

a minimum of 50 MB space.

Installation Instructions
You can install PAM Kerberos from the Web, or you can select it when you are installing
the OE media:
To install PAM Kerberos v 1.24 from the Web, complete the following steps:
1. Review “System Requirements” (page 12) to ensure that your system meets PAM
Kerberos v 1.24 installation requirements.
2. Go to the HP Software Depot Web site at: http://h20293.www2.hp.com/
3. Use the Search button to search the PAM Kerberos v 1.24 product.
The product catalog page is displayed.
4. Select PAM Kerberos in the product catalog.
The PAM Kerberos v 1.24 page is displayed.
5. Read the “Overview” and “Installation” pages for PAM Kerberos v 1.24.
6. Select the Receive for Free>> option at the bottom right of the page.
7. Select the appropriate operating system in the Software specification list.
8. Enter the registration information in the form.
9. Read and accept the terms and conditions.
10. Click Next>>.
The Electronic Delivery Receipt page is displayed.
11. Select the PAM Kerberos v 1.24 depot under Download Software.
12. Save the PAM Kerberos v 1.24 depot in a local directory, for example, /tmp.
13. To verify whether the PAM Kerberos v 1.24 depot is saved properly in the local
directory, run the following command at the HP-UX prompt:
md5sum <depot_name>
Match the result with the fingerprint provided in the Electronic Delivery Receipt.
If the result does not match, download the depot again.
