Known Problems and Workarounds

• On an IPv6 conﬁgured machine, if the IPv6 interface is up and running, kadmind will not

function as expected. You may encounter the following problems:

— kpasswd will not accept change password requests

— Both the Command-Line Administrator, kadmin, and the GUI Administrator,

kadmin_ui, will not function

— Propagation of the Kerberos Database will not be possible

Disable the IPv6 interface for the kadmind to function properly.
