Symptom: The kinit application dumps core.
Defect Description: The kinit application dumps core if the
appdefaults section of the krb5.conf file has any options
set.
Resolution: The kinit application is fixed to resolve this issue.
QXCR1000819795 Symptom: The Kerberos Client 1.6.2 fails to copy forwarded
credentials.
Defect Description: The Kerberos Client 1.6.2 fails to copy
forwarded credentials.
Resolution: The Kerberos Client is fixed to resolve this issue.
QXCR1000850603 Symptom: The Kerberos Client fails when configured with
Apache.
Defect Description: When an Apache server configured with
Kerberos Client 1.6.2 receives a very high number of
simultaneous requests, the Kerberos Client sends the SIGSEGV
signal to the Apache server. This leads to Kerberos Client failure.
Resolution: The Kerberos Client is fixed to resolve this issue.
QXCR1000877253 Symptom: When Kerberos Client is configured with
PAM-Kerberos, Kerberos Client ignores certain options.
Defect Description: When Kerberos Client is configured with
PAM-Kerberos, values of the Kerberos options in the PAM
configuration file take precedence over the values in krb5.conf
file. For some options, such as forwardable and proxiable,
the default values in the krb5.conf file are completely ignored.
Resolution: The Kerberos Client is fixed to resolve this issue.
QXCR1000931013 Symptom: 64-bit kerberized applications fail to authenticate
long user names on an HP Integrity system running HP-UX 11i
v3 operating system.
Defect Description: On an HP-UX 11i v3 system that is
configured with Win2K8 Active Directory as the Kerberos
Server, a 64-bit kerberized application fails to authenticate users
whose user names are greater than eight characters.
Resolution: The Kerberos Client is fixed to resolve this issue.
