Creating The Principal Database After
Installation
If you choose not to create the principal database during installation, you
must do so before configuring the Security Server. To do this, use the
following command:
kdb_create -s
NOTE kdb_create, by default, uses the 3DES encrypted database.
For those of you using the older version, HP’s Kerberos Server V 1.0,
and wish to migrate their Principal Database to the new version, HP’s
Kerberos Server V 2.0, can do so. Refer to Chapter 3, “Migration,” on
page 41.
