Remote Administrator - kadmin_ui
The Remote Administrator, kadmin_ui, is the GUI based
Administrator that runs on the Secondary Security Servers and the
clients.
This program is used by principals with administrative privileges. It also
enables administrators to maintain the databaseon the primary security
server from their work stations on an on-going basis.
You can use kadmin_ui to:
Add, modify, specify or delete principals
Search for a principal
List administration permissions
Extract service principal information to the service key table
Add, modify, specify or delete realms
Edit the Default Group
Manage the admin_acl_file
The functionality of the kadmin_ui is identical to that of kadminl_ui.
The following steps describe how to administer the Kerberos database
using the kadmin_ui remotely.
Refer to “Local Administrator - kadminl_ui” on page 116, for more
information.
The kadmin_ui window can be invoked by executing the following
command at the command line prompt:
# /opt/krb5/bin/kadmin_ui
Step 1. You must have a principal with administrative privileges to use the
kadmin_ui program.
