Changing Ticket Information
You can change the ticket information used for a principal. Ticket
information might include the principal expiration date, ticket lifetime
and ticket renew time.
To change ticket information
Step 1. In the kadminl_ui window, choose the Principals tab and select the
realm where the principal resides.
Step 2. Find the principal whose ticket information you want to change by using
the List All or Search button and then click Edit.
See “Finding a Principal” on page 126, for more information on how to
search for a principal.

Step 3. In the General tab, change the principal expiration date, if necessary,
using the required format.
For more information, see “Rules for Setting Maximum Ticket Lifetime”
on page 134.
Step 4. Change the ticket information for the current principal. Refer to the
topics “Rules for Setting Maximum Ticket Lifetime” on page 134 and
“Rules for Setting Maximum Renew Time” on page 135 for additional
information
NOTE You only need to edit the ticket lifetime for a principal if that principal
should have a maximum ticket lifetime shorter than the
krbtgt/REALM@REALM principal.
Step 5. Click OK to accept the new ticket information.
