Chapter 6116
Local Administrator - kadminl_ui
The Local Administrator, kadminl_ui, is the GUI based Administrator
that runs on the primary security server. This program is used to
administer the Kerberos database. It allows principals with
administrative privileges to administer and maintain the principal
database on an ongoing basis. Each user, client or service that is
authenticated by the Security Server must be included as a principal in
the principal database.
You can use the kadminl_ui to:
• Add, modify, list or delete principals
• Search for Principals
• List administrative permissions
• Extract service principal keys to the key table files
• Add, modify, list or delete realms
• Edit the default group
