HP-UX provides the Generic Security Service Application Program Interface (GSS-API) for
secure client-server application programming.
The GSS-API library, libgss.sl, is a shared library that provides authentication, integrity,
and confidentiality services to the calling application.
HP-UX 11.0 AP1200 release provides GSS-API libraries to support either 32- or 64- bit
applications development environment.
