HP-UX Mobile IPv6 Deployment Components

The following is a list of the components used to operate and conﬁgure HP-UX Mobile IPv6. The sections

following the list provide detailed information about each component.

• Mobile IPv6 Kernel-resident STREAMS Module: mip6mod

• Mobile IPv6 Kernel Module Conﬁguration File: /etc/mip6.conf

• Mobile IPv6 Kernel Module Conﬁguration File Tool: mip6conﬁg

• Mobile IPv6 Kernel Module Administration Tool: mip6admin

• Router Advertisement Daemon: rtradvd

• Router Advertisement Daemon Conﬁguration File: /etc/rtradvd.conf

NOTE The HP-UX Mobile IPv6 product does not include the HP-UX Router Advertisement Daemon

and conﬁguration ﬁle required for HP-UX Mobile IPv6 operation. The IPv6 component of the

TOUR 2.0 release delivers the HP-UX Router Advertisement Daemon and conﬁguration ﬁle.
