mip6admin Return Values
Review the mip6admin return values before using mip6admin with scripts. The following table lists and
defines the values mip6admin returns after executing:
A return value of 1 indicates mip6admin encountered at least one of the following error conditions while
executing in the script:
• errors in the mip6mod configuration file
• failure to start or stop mip6mod
• errors communicating with mip6mod
• errors communicating with rtradvd
• incorrect use of mip6admin commands
