This document describes how to install, conﬁgure, and troubleshoot HP-UX 11i v2 IPv6

transport bundled as part of TOUR (Transport Optional Upgrade Release) 2.0.

The document printing date and part number indicate the document’s current edition. The

Intended Audience

This document is intended for system and network administrators responsible for installing,

conﬁguring, and managing IPv6 transport. Administrators are expected to have knowledge of

Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) networking concepts and network

conﬁguration. As well it is helpful to have knowledge of operating system concepts, commands

and conﬁguration.

This document is not a tutorial.

New and Changed Documentation in This Edition

This document has been created to reﬂect that HP-UX 11i v2 IPv6 transport is included as

part of TOUR 2.0. HP-UX 11i v2 IPv6 transport in TOUR 2.0 has enhancements over IPv6

included in base (default) HP-UX 11i v2. If you install HP-UX 11i v2 TOUR 2.0 this guide

supersedes the HP-UX IPv6 Transport Administrator’s Guide (HP-UX 11i v2)(B2355-90795,

E0903).
