HP-UX IPFilter Version 15.01 Release Notes
DescriptionDefect ID
(JAGag35778) The pfil module had a null value for its write side queue pointer. This
defect is relevant only to user applications that open the /dev/dlpi device.
8606483466
(JAGag37002) The script /sbin/init.d/ipfboot loads filter rules from the
configuration files to the inactive rulesets before swapping the inactive and active rulesets.
The swap was not properly handled for IPv6 rules.
8606483710
(JAGag39813) The ipf -s (switch active and inactive rulesets) command now supports
the -6 option to distinguish between IPv6 and IPv4 rules.
8606487015
(JAGag40341) System panic under stress conditions such as large amounts of network
activity and/or multiple link up and link down events. This defect affects HP-UX 11i v2
and HP-UX 11i v3 versions only.
8606487615
(JAGag45810) Clarify the requirements and behavior for the IPv6 (-6) option with
IPFilter commands in the manpages.
8606493877
(JAGag45888) The HP-UX IPFilter A.03.05.13 (HP-UX 11i v3)
/etc/rc.config.d/ipfconf file did not include the IPF_CONF parameter. This
caused an error when the HP-UX IPFilter startup file (/sbin/init.d/ipfboot) or
the command ipfilter -e executed.
8606493955
(JAGag47884) The outputs for the ipf -q, ipf -d, and ipf -e commands were
changed to be less ambiguous.
