RubyGems
RubyGems is the standard Ruby package manager. It is similar to apt-get, emerge, and other
operating system package managers.
RubyOnRails
Ruby on Rails is a free web application framework. It aims to increase the speed and ease with
which database-driven web sites can be created and offers skeleton code frameworks (scaffolding)
from the outset. Commonly known as Rails or RoR, Ruby on Rails is an open source project written
in the Ruby programming language, and applications using the Rails framework are developed
using the Model-View-Controller design paradigm.
Snort
Snort is an open source program used as a packet sniffer, packet logger, or network intrusion
detection system.
SOAP
The Apache SOAP project is an implementation of the draft W3C protocol by the same name. It
is based on, and supersedes, the IBM SOAP4J implementation.

Struts provides an open source framework for building Java Web applications. The framework is
based on Java servlets, JavaBeans, XML, and some Jakarta Commons packages.
Stunnel
Stunnel is a Universal SSL Wrapper, encrypting arbitrary TCP connections inside SSL. Stunnel
secures non-SSL aware daemons and protocols (like POP, IMAP, and LDAP) by providing the
encryption, requiring no changes to the daemon code.
Sudo
Sudo is a program that provides limited root privileges to specified users, and logs the root activity.
