dene_downstream_lu
2.18 dene_domain_cong_le
The define_domain_config_file command species an optional comment string to be included in the
header of a domain conguration le. If you are creating a domain conguration le using a text editor, this
comment string must be the rst record in the le.
2.18.1 Supplied Parameters

The supplied parameter is:
comment
An optional comment string containing information about the le. SNAplus2 uses the string for information
only. It is stored in the nodes conguration le and returned on the query_domain_config_file
command.
2.18.2 Returned Parameters
No parameters are returned by SNAplus2 when this command executes successfully.
2.18.3 Error Return Codes
If the command cannot be executed, SNAplus2 returns a primary return code to indicate the type of error and a
secondary return code to provide specic details about the reason for unsuccessful execution.

No parameter errors occur for this command.
State Check
No specic state errors, other than those listed in Appendix A, Common Return Codes from snapadmin Commands,
occur for this command.

Appendix A, Common Return Codes from snapadmin Commands, lists combinations of primary and secondary
return codes that are common to all commands.
2.19 dene_downstream_lu
The define_downstream_lu command denes a new downstream LU and maps it to an upstream host LU
or LU pool. This enables the downstream LU to access the host computer using the PU concentration feature of
SNAplus2. This command cannot be used to modify an existing downstream LU.
This command can also be used to activate a downstream LU that is already dened (for example, because the
downstream workstation has just been activated). To do this, reissue the define_downstream_lu command
for that LU. Note that all parameters must be the same as in the original denition, because you cannot modify the
denition.
