Administration Commands
set_cs_trace
enabled constant YES
Supplied parameter is:
enabled
Species whether to enable or disable central logging. Possible values are:
YES
Enable central logging. All log messages are sent to a single central le on the node that is currently
the central logger.
NO
Disable central logging. Log messages from each server are sent to a le on that server (specied using
set_log_file).
2.185.2 Returned Parameters
No parameters are returned by SNAplus2 when this command executes successfully.
2.185.3 Error Return Codes
If the command cannot be executed, SNAplus2 returns a primary return code to indicate the type of error and a
secondary return code to provide specic details about the reason for unsuccessful execution.
Parameter Check
If the command does not execute because of a parameter error, SNAplus2 returns the following parameters:
primary_rc
PARAMETER_CHECK
secondary_rc
NOT_CENTRAL_LOGGER
The command was issued to a specic node. It must be issued without specifying a node name.
State Check
No specic state errors, other than those listed in Appendix A, Common Return Codes from snapadmin Commands,
occur for this command.
Other Conditions
Appendix A, Common Return Codes from snapadmin Commands, lists combinations of primary and secondary
return codes that are common to all commands.
2.186 set_cs_trace
The set_cs_trace command species tracing options for data sent between computers in the SNAplus2 domain.
For more information about tracing options, refer to HP-UX SNAplus2 Diagnostics Guide.
This command may be issued to a running node or to a HP-UX client computer on which the SNAplus2 software is
running. To issue the command to a client computer, use the
snapadmin program on a server, but specify the client
