Administration Commands
dene_local_lu
secondary_rc
Possible values are:
PORT_ACTIVE
The specied port cannot be modied because it is currently active.
Other Conditions
Appendix A, Common Return Codes from snapadmin Commands, lists combinations of primary and secondary
return codes that are common to all commands.
2.33.4 Incoming Calls
If you are conguring a port that accepts incoming calls (as dened by the tot_link_act_lim, inb_link_act_lim, and
out_link_act_lim parameters), there is no need to dene an LS to use for these calls; SNAplus2 will dynamically
dene an LS when the incoming call is received.
When an incoming call arrives at the port, SNAplus2 checks the address specied on the call against the addresses
specied for link stations dened on the port (if any) to determine if an LS has already been dened for the call. If
the address does not match, an LS is dynamically dened. To ensure that the explicit LS denition is used, be sure
that the address dened for this LS matches the address that is supplied by the remote computer on the incoming
call.
2.34 dene_local_lu
The define_local_lu command denes a new local LU. The command can also be used to modify the disable,
description, sys_name, timeout,orback_level parameters for an existing LU or for the default LU associated with
the local nodes control point, but it cannot modify any of the other parameters. When modifying an existing LU,
all the other parameters that cannot be modied must be set to their currently dened values.
