• On the Host Manager screen, click the box in the Monitored column for the entry of the host
you want to enable or disable for monitoring. The box displays a check mark if the host is
enabled; it is blank if the host is disabled.
When an entry is enabled, it is also displayed on the System Manager screen and automatically
polled. When it is disabled, it is removed from the System Manager screen.
NOTE: If an agent is actively running a surveillance schedule, it must be stopped before its host
entry can be disabled. For more information, see “Stopping Schedules on Agent Hosts” (page 44).
Any entry where the TAG is “SRP” cannot be enabled, disabled or deleted.
Managing a Tag
To manage a tag, follow these steps:
1. On the Host Manager screen, bring up the Edit Host Tag List dialog box, as shown in Figure 30
by performing one of the following steps:
• Select Edit > Host Tag List.
• Press Crtl+T.

2. Add, modify, or delete tags
• To add a tag, follow these steps:
Click Add to display the Add Host Tag dialog box, as shown in Figure 31.1.
