1. Perform one of the following tasks:
Click the Save button
Choose File > Save
Enter Ctrl+S
The Save dialog box (Figure 5-17) is displayed.

2. Click OK to save, Cancel otherwise. If you click OK, the File Saved dialog box (Figure 5-18)
is displayed. It shows the full path name that the schedule was saved as. The file is stored
in /var/opt/ids/bin/gui/logs; /opt/ids/bin/gui/logs is a symbolic link. The
file name is the name of the schedule with a .txt extension.

3. Click OK to complete the process.
Predefined Surveillance Schedules and Groups
Table 5-1 lists the predefined surveillance schedules and surveillance groups that are supplied
with the system and the detection templates that they use.
All the groups use the default values for the properties of the templates. They have different
timetables in different schedules. The templates, their properties, and their default values are
described in detail in Appendix A (page 111).
