2. Select a file name in the list.
3. Click Open to open the file, or Cancel to exit without changing host files.
The hosts are displayed on the Host Manager screen. The monitored hosts are also
displayed on the System Manager screen.
Using Multiple Host Files
To use multiple host files to monitor varying sets of agent hosts, consider the following:
• Since the sentinal.hosts file is always loaded when the System Manager
starts, do not enable any of the hosts in it. This prevents the System Manager from
polling any of the agent hosts.
• After you start the System Manager, load the host file of your choice. It can have
hosts enabled in it.
• To switch to another host set without stopping your current agents, exit the System
Manager and restart it. Then load the new host file.
