1. On the Host Manager screen, bring up the Save dialog box, as shown in Figure 6-9
by performing one of the following steps:
• Choose the File > Save As menu item.
• Press Ctrl+A.

2. Either click a file name in the list or enter a new name in the file name field.
NOTE: You can change directories, but HP recommends that you keep your host
files in the default /etc/opt/ids/gui/config directory.
3. Click Save to save the file, or Cancel to exit without saving.
Using an Alternate Host List File
A new host file cannot be opened if there are any surveillance schedules running on
any of the hosts currently displayed. Each surveillance schedule must first be stopped
using the System Manager screen. For more information, see “Stopping Schedules on
Agent Hosts” (page 65).
To load a previously saved host file, follow these steps:
