Preferences Screen
The Preferences screen allows you to specify several system operational preferences
and to choose which columns will appear on the alerts and errors lists of the Network
Node screen, and the Monitored Hosts list of the System Manager screen.
To display the Preferences screen (Figure 8-1 on page 116), go to the System
Manager screen and do one of:
• Choose the Edit > Preferences menu item
• Press Ctrl-P
The screen has two main tabs and three subtabs, as follows:
• “General Preferences” on page 116
• “Browser Preferences” on page 118
❏ “Alert Events Preferences” on page 118
❏ “Error Events Preferences” on page 119
❏ “System Manager Preferences” on page 120
Click on the appropriate tab and subtab to display the options. Click on an option box to
select or deselect it.
