HP-UX Directory Server 8.1 schema reference

This object class is defined in RFC 2307, which defines object classes and attributes to use LDAP
as a network information service.

The simpleSecurityObject object class allow an entry to contain the userPassword attribute
when an entry's principal object classes do not allow a password attribute. Reserved for future
use.
