4. Check the New Windows Group Sync checkbox to enable group synchronization. To disable
synchronization, uncheck the box.
For new synchronization agreements, select the corresponding group sync checkbox in the sync
agreement creation wizard.
9.4.4.2 Configuring group sync in the command line
The attribute to set Active Directory group sync is nsds7NewWinGroupSyncEnabled and is
set on the synchronization agreement. To enable group synchronization, add this attribute to
the synchronization agreement or create a synchronization agreement with this attribute set to
